This specifically covers canvas permissions. For Artspace permissions and roles, see this guide.
First of all, make sure you're logged in and that you're the administrator of the canvas
Then click the Admin button in the top left corner:
As an administrator, you can manage multiple aspects of the drawing:
Control each user’s permissions (drawing, adding/removing layers, etc)
Remove users from a board
Set passwords (Blaze plan only)
Eject users from layers
The level of permissions granted determines the level of access of the invited person to the canvas.
Sequences
If you have multiple canvases in sequence together, the Admin permissions that you set up will apply to all of them.
The Edit Sequence permission is a relatively new permission added to limit other users being able to add or remove drawings in the sequence.
How to assign Roles for permissions
You can give users different levels of permissions for the canvas by assigning them a role. By default, users who join your canvas are given the All role.
To assign a new role, tap on their avatar in the top right.
Then adjust the role at the bottom of the user menu.
We strongly urge you NOT to assign the Admin role to users unless you know and trust them to help manage the canvas. Giving strangers the Admin role can lead to problems like destroying users' drawings, changing admin permissions, or pasting inappropriate content. It's best to give the Approved role instead.
