While you may have set your Artspace to be public, it has to be approved by our team to appear on the upcoming public Artspace listing page. For your Artspace to be considered, there are some criteria and conditions.
First, complete your Artspace setup
Go to your Artspace settings, and hit Edit under the Artspace details.
Add an avatar - This will appear on your profile and in the sidebar of your dashboard
Add a banner - Adds some flair and visual appeal to your profile. Be sure to make it relevant to what your Artspace is about
Add a description - A clear description is essential for the searchability of your Artspace
Add a detailed About section - A more detailed description with more info about what people can expect to find in your Artspace and why they should join
Once you're done with the profile, it's time to set up how your ARtspace will work:
Set rules for the space - Use a text channel or content pages to give clear rules for your Artspace
Have at least one other user as an Admin - running a good artspace often requires a little extra help. Get someone you trust to help you manage your Artspace and keep it healthy.
Have more than one Text channel for different topics - It's easy for things to get lost in a single chat channel. Having different channels lets you have focused discussions that appeal to different members of your Artspace.
It will be helpful for your Artspace to have some momentum already with activity in chat, drawings, and profile. There are a few ways to start growing:
Share a link to your artspace in your personal account bio
Invite friends via email or with a post on your feed
Host an Art Jam from inside your Artspace
Share a couple of public images to your Artspace profile gallery. With a full profile, and images in the gallery, your Artspace tooltip and listing could look very interesting.
When you're ready, it's time to make sure your Discoverability and Join settings are sorted.
Your Artspace must be set to Public
Ensure Join is set either to Open or Request to Join
