Remixing lets you publish artworks for others to add on to. Think of Draw This in Your Style, Color Pallete Challenge, or Trading Card templates. Or even create a scene that others can add their characters to.
IMPORTANT: do not license artworks that you do not own or did not create.
Making your artwork remixable
First create a new canvas and draw out the image that you want to make remixable;
When it's ready, tap the blue Share button and then Publish to Gallery;
Then switch the Allow Remixing toggle;
You will be asked to choose a license, either Story or Creative Commons;
Your image will then be ready to remix in your Gallery and from the Feed.
You will be able to see all remixes of your image below it in the Gallery. Clicking on a remix will take you to the post.
How to remix an artwork
You will see a unique symbol on gallery posts and feed images to show that the author has enabled remixing on it. There is also a new indicator to show how many remixes have been made of it.
Tap the Remix Artwork button to create the canvas ready for you to add to.
When you are finished, share it to your Profile Gallery. Publishing a remix will apply the same licensing terms automatically and allow others to remix your artwork further.
Beneath the gallery post, viewers will see the original remixable piece as well of any remixes of your artwork.
Remixing rules
Remixing follow the same rules that we have for Gallery posting some of which include:
use only works that you created;
mature content should be labeled appropriately;
images deemed inappropriate or offensive to our community will be removed;
