Art Jam Templates

This guide covers using canvas templates you made for your Art Jams.

Written by Ryan

To make it easier for Art Jam hosts to create Jams with a similar format, you can create templates in your Artdesk or Artspace and then choose from those next time you make a new Art Jam.

How to use templates for Art Jams

First create a template board, either as a single canvas or a multiboard.

Once it's set up, you can use this repeatedly for new Art Jams. The following example is a multiboard created and stored in a folder in my Artdesk.

Once your board is prepared, go create an Art Jam

In the Create Jam window, tap on Select a board to copy.

Now look for the template board you created in your Artdesk or Artspace.

Add the remaining info such as Art Jam description and Rules, and enable features like automatic moderation if needed.

When you're ready, hit the Create Jam Draft button

A new jam will be created as a duplicate of the board you chose as a template

Using your Art Jams as template boards

You can do this with previous Art Jams you have hosted as well. This will copy all the information of the jam, such as the rules and title, however it will duplicate the boards exactly as they are too, with all of the existing layers. So you will want to take a moment to clean up the boards before publishing the Art Jam.
