Don't want to miss important notifications while you're busy with other tasks? Then you can enable different notification types for Magma. You can choose between in-app, Push, and eail notifications for different events on the platform.
First, a quick description of each notification type:
In-app - a banner notification appears in the bottom left of your Mama window
Push - Notification pops up on-screen and appears in your device's notifications panel
Email - receive an email notification in your inbox
Push Notifications
Push notifications will appear as a popup on-screen while Magma is in the background and it will appear in the notification panel of your device.
You can enable push notifications in different areas such as the notification dropdown, chat window, and in your account settings.
For push notifications on iPhone or iPad, you first need to add Magma to your home screen.

Then open the application from your Home screen and enable notifications from the dropdown or your account settings.

Open the application, then enable push notifications from the dropdown or your account settings.

If your browser supports push notifications, or if you are using the webapp or desktop app, you can enable them by opening your notifications dropdown. You will see a highlighted item at the top with the option to turn on notifications.
If you dismissed this message, you can still enable or adjust your notifiation preferences in your Account and Billing settings.

When you open your DMs window, you will also see a message here to enable push notifications if you haven't already.
In app notifications
In-app notifications pop up as grey banners in the bottom left of your screen for both the dashboard and the canvas. Clicking on the notification wll take you to the relevant location for it, such as a gallery post, profile, or canvas.
While drawing, these types of notifications may be distracting. If they are, you can disable them in the Notification preferences section of your account settings.

In your Notification preferences, you will also have an optioin to allow notifications and you can control which ones you receive for various events across the platform.
You can disable notifications for certain things entirely as well if you prefer by tapping on the toggle next to each one.
To disable push notifications for a specific device that you are logged into, you will find the option to remove that device at the bottom of your Notificationssettings page:
Drawing notifications
You can control tyhe notifications for a specific drawing as well. When you open the drawing, tap on the title in the top bar and open the notification settings.
A new window will appear where again you can adjust the type of notifications that you want to receive.
