We’re excited to open a new chapter in Magma’s creative ecosystem: brush packs created by the community, for the community. As we begin rolling out our first community-made brush pack by Orb (check it out!), we’re now looking for more creators who want to share their work—and even earn from it—directly inside Magma.
We’re Looking for Brush Pack Creators
Whether you’re an experienced brush designer or someone with a distinctive artistic style, we’d love to feature your brushes on Magma. Creators can contribute in two ways:
Paid Brush Packs — available to users who spend Mags to redeem the brush pack
Free + Paid Bundles — a combination of one free pack to attract new fans, and an additional premium pack for committed users available via Mags purchase
If you’re excited to get your work in front of thousands of artists, this is your chance.
What Types of Brushes Can You Create?
Our brush engine is evolving. While we work on advanced features (like Dual Brush and Tilt), we need creators who can build beautiful, effective tools within our current system limits.
We are primarily looking for brushes that work well with our brush engine right now. Please review the compatibility cheat sheet below before you start creating.

How to Prepare Your Brush Pack
To ensure your brushes work perfectly in Magma, please follow this process:
1. Create Your Brushes Using Your Preferred Software
You can design your brushes in Photoshop or or any tool capable of exporting .ABR files.
If you use tool that uses different format (for example: *.SUT files used by Clip Studio Paint), you'll need to convert brushes to ABR format first.
2. Verify Your Brushes Compatibility
Before submitting, ensure your ABR file is compatible with Magma by following the chart above.
This step ensures your pack uses only currently supported brush features.
3. Submit Your Brush Pack
Once everything looks good, please send us:
Your creator profile on Magma
Your ABR files
The intended free/paid structure
Any notes or naming conventions
Consent to process brush files to ensure compatibility
You can submit everything via this link: https://magma.art/brush-pack-submission-form
What Happens Next?
Our team will review your brushes to ensure compatibility and fit with Magma’s creative ecosystem. If your brush pack is accepted, we’ll reach out to you directly to discuss:
Launch timing
Pricing (if paid)
Promotion opportunities
How we’ll credit you inside the app
We will not launch or use your brushes without your consent for purpose other than beta testing.
We’re building this program together with creators from the ground up—and we can’t wait to see what you bring to Magma.
