Adjusting your pressure sensitivity

This guide covers changing your pen pressure settings for Magma and will be especially useful for iPad and Android tablet users.

If you find that the pressure sensitivity setting isn't quite right for you, there is an option to change this in your Edit menu. For now, this setting applies globally and will affect the brush, eraser, pixel pencil, blend tool.

If you prefer to use less pressure to get a thick line or bold brush stroke, then you will want to change the pressure curve toa softer feel (as shown below). This is recommended for mobile tablet users on iPads and Galaxy tablets.

If you prefer to apply more pressure, then change the curve to a harder feel as shown here.

You can adjust your curve with multiple points as well by tapping on the curve where a point does not yet exist. You can keep this window open while you experiment.

Use the Reset button to reset your curve.

If you are on a computer with a drawing tablet, you can also change your pressure curve in the driver settings.
